My Conscience Exam

Peace be unto you Dear brother !

You know what ?, we have to deeply reflect NOW !

Let me set a standard of Reflection for you.

I titled this interrogational article "MY CONSCIENCE EXAM" from DAILY MEDITATION.

Right now, Tell that person beside you to take his leave, he may be distracting our attention. 

Done ?!,  now, I want you to sit comfortably, close your eyes, I mean close your two eyes, I want you to notice your breathing.

Have you ?

Now open your eyes ! 

I want you to take this minutes for a very deep and mindful reflection on a verse of the Holy-Qur'an.

You know what I'm passionate about now ?. So, don't fret. I will do justice to it.

This verse !, we will have to perform a Conscience Exam. Yes a serious one !.

About our duties and dutifulness. ...hmm! 

 It's just only one verse. Okay !. 

You know this Qur'an is full of magnificent magnificences when we talk about verses. They are deep !.

This verse we're about to reflect upon is in suratul-Luqman, Q31:33 - Which reads thus :

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ وَٱخْشَوْا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيْـًٔاۚ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ 

O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver [Shaytan].

Do you read it at all ?... okay reread !

You have to recite it louder and clearly !

Now, think over it, allow the message to sink !

Now Reflect  !

Meditate !!!

That's why I call it Daily Mediation.

Still reflect again, Dear Brother !

You have to meditate. I'm sure you pictured the scenario of how the day of Judgement will look like in that verse.

Allah commanded us to fear Him and remember the Day of Resurrection when He said;

لاَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ

no father can avail aught for his son,

Meaning that; even if he wanted to offer himself as a sacrifice for his son, it would not be accepted from him. The same will apply in the case of a son who wants to sacrifice himself for his father it will never be accepted from him.

Imagine !

When I was meditating, I remembered the judiciary system, where someone from somewhere will just pick his phone and call the D.P.O to immediately release his accused son or daughter.

This verse tells us that such cannot happen on that day. Never !. Allah says;

إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ

Verily, the promise of Allah is true,

Meaning that Allah jokes NOT !

Then Allah reminds us once again with the words:

 

فَلاَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا

let not then this present life deceive you, 

meaning, do not let your feelings of contentment with this life make you forget about the Hereafter.

وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ

nor let the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah. That is (Shaytan) - (Esu)

We seek Allah's protection from him. Aãmeen.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking ?

Let me explain...........it's DAILY MEDITATION.

You see on that day of Judgement, Allah's dominion will be made manifest and no exceptions will be made. He's the King and the Sovereign of the day of Judgement.

مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ 

No one will speak on that Day except with the permission of the Most Merciful Allah.

No father will answer for his son, or any son for his father, or any man for his brother, or any servant for his master.

I mean No one will care about anybody except himself, or feel grief or compassion for anyone except himself. It's will be so so terrible. I pray Allah assist us.

That Day everyone will be worried only about himself. No one will be asked about anybody else. Let alone catering for his kids or family member. 

Each person will be concerned only about himself, weeping and wailing for himself and carrying his own burden. 

No one will carry the burden of another person or feel a slightest sense of pity for another person whose burden is heavy.

And many other catastrophic scenes that each person will be faced with. It's more than "Somebody help !!!"  (Egbami - Egbami).

Unless we obey Allah as He had ordered us and ensure we meet Him with a clean and sound heart. 

إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ 

I hope you now get my message ??

The Conscience Exam I talked about earlier starts NOW !!!

Think deeply, if anyone of us meet his doom now, can we stand before Allah ?? ...hmm!

I pray Allah assist me and you.

I pray Allah make this Meditation a source of guidance for me and you, and accept it as an act of Ibaadah.
